Life Around Here

We've been having a good time enjoying the summer weather these days. Andy got a new to him motorcyle and Grayson has been loving it as much as Andy! My grandpa gave Andy a four wheeler that wasn't doing too hot and Stateline Polaris was willing to trade him straight across for the bike. Sounds like a good deal to me, unless he gets hurt! Then I get to melt the bike. I'll love watching it burn :)

Grayson likes to help Andy wash anything. Washing for Grayson means playing in the water, eating the soap out of the rag and a bath to follow :)

We celebrated my mom's 50th birthday last weekend. Grayson as always, enjoyed the cake. I made homemade taquitos with yummy dip, a huge salad and salsa :) My sister brought delicious watermelon and my mom's favorite, angel food cake with sticky frosting. It ended up being a luau, that's what happens when I run to the Dollar Store for a balloon. So, we had mexcian food with Hawaiian flare :) It was so wonderful celebrating our mama!

Laura, Mom and I. It's so much fun all of us getting together. We truly are our own family unit these days! My parents, 3 girls and then 4 kids between my sister and I. It's hard to believe we grew up and had our own families!

Avery a few days from 1 month. She's a happy baby still. I keep my fingers crossed :)
