Independence Day 2010

We had a great 4th of July this year. Pretty mellow during the day and in bed as the fireworks were going off outside! That's the joy of having littles around :) We went to my Grandma Mary's house for a bbq with some family. It was great! Grayson had so much fun running around outside and playing in the ice inside the cooler! We then went home and my sister and her daughters came over for a bit (to help us feel like we were doing something :) ) and then we just hung around until bed time. Maybe next year we can watch fireworks?

It's easy to forget what this day is really about and what that looks like for us today and for families all across the country. Thank you for our freedom and for fighting to keep that freedom! Can't forget the freedom we have in Jesus and the sacrifice that was made for us!
