FoOd!!

Food has always been an adventure with Grayson. From day one Grayson has given us trouble. He's so funny and sometimes slightly frustrating. Right now, he'll throw chicken nuggets overboard for peas or green beans. I know it's good he likes his veggies, but he really needs to eat some main dish too! It's a three-time-a-day guessing game to see what he's going to eat. He's gotten pretty vocal about it too. He's not old enough for me to jump on board with the "you eat what we give you, period" train of thought yet. We don't bend over backwards and most nights he ends up eating some of what we're trying to get him to eat, with some extras thrown in. Other nights he's a dream. He loses weight way too easily for us to not try and get him to eat SOMETHING!
Grayson's discovery of whole wheat Ritz. I'm pretty sure it was love at first bite! He enjoys the occasional snack of cheese, crackers and banana.
Grayson and daddy eating some crackers. Unfortunately, Andy and I both share a love of crackers. Our children don't stand a chance! This was the night that Andy learned that Grayson can't have a snack too close to dinner or he won't eat dinner. No one ever listens to me!

PEAS. Grayson's current love. We can't let him see them or he'll stop eating whatever it is he currently has. Don't worry, he didn't eat all of these. He polished them off the next day at lunch.

What Grayson thought of lunch last week. Apparently it wasn't entertaining enough for him. He's been having a hard time napping again and had cried for 45 minutes that morning without sleeping. So, morning nap was skipped and this was the aftermath of that.

  1. My fav is the picture of him eating peas. He has one hand in the mouth while the other hand is grabbing more. Awesome:)
