Wow! A hundred posts already?!?! How did that happen? Well, this post should live up to the hype, but I'm not sure it will. In my mind it does, because, well, I really like my kids and this will be a kid update! So, here we go! How bouts an update on the last few weeks. Here's the deal though, I had lost my camera. Then, I found my camera. Next I made Cookies 'n Cream Cupcakes that I could not resist for my birthday. Then, I ate said cupcake for breakfast with a glass of milk that I happened to dump all over my camera. Opened the battery hatch, all was well. Not. The zoom lens got messed up :( It is really blurry except at a perfect depth. A depth that's not easy to achieve. So, we have blurry pictures folks, sorry. I still want to document these memories so I guess we'll all have to deal until I can afford another camera. I'll borrow my dad's until then and hope for some better pictures!
Grayson, Avery and I with our
matching "Man Hats" Andrea knitted
us. We have the Man Hat, the Mama
Man Hat and the Mini Man Hat :)
First up, well, my first up...child that is :) Grayson's done AWESOME without his paci. A dream really. So that's been great. He's getting closer to potty training so we'll see where that takes us. For now, not far, which I'm okay with! He's comfortable with the potty and asks to go here and there, so I'll take it. He's the best big brother ever! He loves Avery and loves to love on her. He's sad when she's upset and always wants her to wake up to play. He'll get her toys and her paci when she's feeling a little sad, which is so cute to see. He takes care of her the best a two year old boy can and it makes my heart swell to see them together. He's really good with sharing at the moment and luckily hasn't bit in awhile. Hoping that phase has passed. Probably not though :( He's been begging to go on walks and play outside, so no change there. I'm looking forward to spring weather and outside time!
Both my kids LOVE their grandpa! Grayson loves going to my parents house and loves loves going out to the shop to see Grandpa's Bronco. He'd spend hours outside giving the horses hay, cleaning stalls and watering with Grandma. It's a child's dream out there!
Avery's a lady with a mission: a mission to move! She has mastered forward crawling and has purpose now. She's a full time crawler. Up on all four, cruising through the house. It's a nightmare :) Just kidding. She is always looking for trouble though. Most recently she's been trying to pull up on everything and has had some success.
Crazy Hair!
Avery's ALMOST broke her tooth through...so close!
Prospect Point Playground Fun!
