Grayson At Play

Grayson, Grayson, Grayson...what a kid! He surprises me daily with his adventures, new discoveries and clever personality. Right now he's dealing with his first bout of the stomach bug. I won't complain though, he is almost 20 months and we've avoided it up until now. (Wow, he's almost two!) Grayson is a typical boy. Loves playing rough, getting dirty and melting his mama's heart :) His most recent scare-me-to-death activity was climbing onto the arm of the couch (preparing to step onto the unstable side table) and turning the air conditioner's temperature up and down. I could not figure out why my air kept turning on and off! If he sees someone do something once, it's all over! We've been struggling with discipline and he's proving to be a bit defiant, it goes with the age though, and his "active" disposition! He's really been doing great though the last week. I don't feel like all I've done is tell him "no" all day. Bottom line is, he's just too darn cute for me to stay mad at for more than a second. Plus, most of the things he's trying to do are out of sheer curiosity! How can you argue with that? Well, here are a few of Grayson's favorite things right now...

Finding new uses for things. He put the baby pool on top of the water in the bigger pool and was floating on it!

Loves his cousin Maddie. This also shows his love of dirt. I mean, he really, really loves dirt!

Speaking of dirt, he filled his pool with a bucket of dirt. Apparently when I asked him not to dump his shovel of dirt in there he didn't catch on to no dirt in the pool! I think he loves dirty water even more than plain dirt :)

That's a little of what our little man has been up to lately. I am so blessed to have such an amazing boy. I don't know what I'd do without him. He will always have such a special place in my heart!
