We finally got into the pool this year! We are fortunate and have some great people that let us come swim during the summer. I was excited to get Grayson into the pool and curious to see how he'd react. He loves his bath and is constantly trying to "go" somewhere in it, but you never know how they'll do in such a large amount of water! Plus, it isn't quite as warm as his usual bath :) So, we set out for our adventure one day last week. I got Grayson all dudded up and put some sunscreen on and into the pool we went.
He wasn't splashing and going crazy, but he didn't cry either!
He seemed to be mesmerized by the water.
Him in the baby spring float I got him. Such a great investment! You still have to hold on to him, but he isn't quite so slickery. Plus, he could look at me a bit better. He was totally kicked back chewing on a diving stick.
Couldn't resist....it's decent :)
It was a fun day and I can't wait to get him into the pool more throughout the summer. It's a new experience for sure as I don't get to swim like I used to, but it's so much fun to be able to play with him in the water!
