We gave Grayson his first taste of what he's been craving. I don't think it was exactly what he's been craving, but it was food none the less. I think he's been wanting ice cream, but he had to settle for rice cereal. I've been excited to come to this milestone. Sadly though, while I was giving it to him I was remembering how the fun of cereal giving wears off quickly! For now though, I'm loving it! He was so funny. I knew he would love it. (He's been pretty obsessed watching us while we're eating). So, I get it all ready, turn on the video camera and away we go. He figured out how to suck it off the spoon in no time. Then he stared grabbing my hand and pulling the spoon to his mouth! Too cute. He wasn't even too messy about it. We don't like to waste food around here :) Can't believe my baby's eating rice cereal...*sigh* Ice cream, here we come! Just kidding grandparents...no sneaking him ice cream yet :)

Messy Face!

Gimme That Spoon!

Storing It Up For Later

SPOON!

All Clean!
So, I guess this means I have a rolling over, cereal eating, sleeping "through the night"ish, almost 6 months old baby. Wow.

Wow! He figured it out quick, way to go Grayson!!
ReplyDeleteoh too cute! I forgot how much fun it is to feed them there first bite. Treasure it because before you know it he will want to do it all by himself. We should get together for a park playdate with Erin and the kids soon. Tuesday's work best for you because you have no kiddos on that day right? let me know!
