So sleepy...

So, as you can tell, my blogging has slowed down since WE ARE HOME!! We came home Saturday night around 7:00pm. Grayson had went from 4 lb 10.1 oz to 4 lb 12.1 oz. That was our ticket out of there. We left with strict orders to check back on Sunday for another weight and a scan to check on his jaundice. His weight was up to 4 lb 12.8 oz and his biliruben was down to 9.5! We spent yesterday (Sunday), trying to adjust and figure out how things were going to go once Andy went back to work, which was today. Grayson has been doing really well. His feeding is still kind of sketchy at times and he's had some serious trouble keeping a couple of bottles down. We were adding fortifier to my pumped milk but they were out and formula was a really close substitute. We add just a little and it gives him extra calories. Well, we started that late yesterday afternoon and he's had trouble with spitting a ton of bottle out ever since. He only done it at four feedings, but it's pretty stressful when he does because every bit counts for his scrawny body. So, after he did it again, we called and talked to one of the pediatricians and she said to leave the fortifier out of the bottle. Hopefully he'll still get enough to gain even without the extra calories. That's where we're at. It took me all day to take a shower and I didn't get anything to eat until about 1:30. Where did my day go???!?!?!? It's great though. I also wore the pants he peed all over for most of the day...gross, huh? I've got about 30 minutes until he needs to eat again and I'm SO tired. It was nice to get a chance to catch up on this blog though. Andy hit the hay so he can be up at the 5:00 feeding...yuck. Oh well, he's worth every bit. Even when I'm so sleepy...
