It's Time

It's time to gear up for Grayson 2nd birthday party! I've been going over in my head what needs to be done this week leading up to it. His birthday isn't until the 17th, but we plan to do his party the weekend before most of the time to seperate it from Christmas a bit more, plus it's also worked out so my dad can be here for it. The main things on the list:

• Invitations have gone out to the fam...check!
• Bought food (we're having "fun" food)
• Printed off decor...about half way through cutting out
• Assemble banners
• Make the dreaded cookies with royal icing. I have never attempted this type of frosting and it has quite the finiky reputation. Here's hoping the long, drawn out proccess doesn't end in disaster!
• Made my delicious, homemade chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting, yum!
• Gather two more muffin tins to make said cupcakes in
• ClEaN!!!
• Etc, etc, etc

Can't wait for it all to come together. I have a picture in my head, which is always dangerous for me as it never turns out! Pictures to come after this weekend!
