We went on our annual camping trip with the Ashbecks this summer to Harris Park. I kept thinking how last year I had a BABY, Grayson was only 6 months old, and this year I have BABIES!! So crazy! A year can change a lot I suppose :) We had a great time hanging out with our friends, things have been so busy we don't get to do it as much these days, so it was nice to get away! Grayson loves playing with Dylan and Logan and for now they love playing with him :) I try not to abuse their kindness so it doesn't wear off anytime soon! This trip was extra special because it was the first trip with our new trailer! Okay, it's not really new, 70's to be more specific and it is the one we've been using for a long time anyways. But, it's now officially ours! We bought it from Andy's dad at the beginning of summer, before we went to Bumping Lake, but Harris Park was our first time using it. We want to make new cusions at some point and change out the broken blinds, but other than that, it's perfect! I look to many family camping trips with it.
The entire back of the trailer can be made into a bed. While the kids are young, this is where we all sleep. Grayson watching Cars. I know, I know, not really camping, but this guy won't nap when he doesn't have his crib except if he can watch a little tv. Sometimes, no nap is achieved, but at least he gets some down time.
I love that there are playgrounds at some of the campgrounds. With little kids that still need a bit of entertainment, they are great!
I'm not lying when I say Grayson and Andy have been training for this moment. G's been hanging from the shower curtain rod since he was probably 12 months old! I was worried about it hurting his arms, but he kept begging Andy to let go! Little monkey for sure.
These guys had a lot of fun at the playground.
There were a couple of little boys there with trucks and such for the sand too. Logan and Grayson had a lot of fun building roads and digging.
Last year, single stroller...this year, double!
The ridiculous pride that comes from my little man, throwing. I've shared that I don't care if my kids play sports, and I really don't, but there is something about watching them and somehow dreaming of how they're going to be an awesome left handed pitcher and you could stop saving for retiremnt :) I love how he lifts his leg to throw, too funny!
