Grayson experienced his first fair this year! I don't think he noticed though :) We started off our "fair day" by walking in the Kiddie Parade with out MOPS (Mothers of Prescholers) Group from our church. Grayson decided that he was going to take a great nap that morning and we were almost late! We jumped in with the group as they were starting! It was a lot of fun though. MOPS got some exposure and one mom even said she came because of the pamphlet we handed out. Plus, the kids got chalk...so fun!

After the kiddie parade we settled in to watch the main parade. Grayson got to hang out with Grandma and Auntie Andrea and Antie Laura. Here he is getting the static treatment. He, like all children, loves balloons. Of course, it's dangerous so he's all over it!

I got to spend the morning filling my niece Maddie up with candy. I gave her a blue sucker which of course turned her tounge colors. Here we are showing off our candy tounges :)

Here's Grayson with Auntie Laura or as we like to call her, Aunie Wora. By this time, Grayson was needing to nurse and get in a nap. We left before the parade was over so we could rest up before hitting the fair.

So after another long nap (seriously this child only naps when we have somewhere to be!) we headed down to the fair. It was the only day we went, other than Andy and I going to the Blake Shelton/Joey & Rory concert. Which, P.S., was amazing! Since it was our only day, we had a lot to get in. We met up with the Griffin, Sadie and Addie and we all walked around. We did all the main events, ate some food and looked at the animals. Here's Grayson checking out the pigs. I really wanted a picture with the pig's face looking at me and Grayson smiling, but no one was cooperating! All in all, we spent about 2 hours at the fair. It was fun, but I look forward to the day when Grayson's a little more into it!
