Big Months!

The last couple of months have been huge in Rowan's little world!  The end of month 6 brought the army crawl and the awareness of the best game ever...crawling to the TV cabinet and pulling all the movies and books out.  By the beginning of month 7, the army crawl was perfected.  Month 7 was crazy.  Finally sitting up without going bonkers and going for the next closest thing.  Sitting from a crawl came half way through the month.  By the end of month 7 you were pulling yourself up and standing at diaper boxes, the couch and crawling stacks of pillows.  All of these activities usually end in a collision with the floor :(  Today, you're 8 months and 2 days and I found you standing in your crib.  You have tried crawling on your knees but don't quite have it and can sit and almost pull yourself up on the couch straight from the floor.  And drum roll, please...the elusive first bud of tooth has popped through!  I can't believe how mobile you are, always seconds away from disaster.  Crawling in, over and through constantly.  You, my love, constantly keep us on our toes.  I love this time, but I don't like the always grabbing you before the fall and even worse, the consoling after the fall.  Especially the falling straight back course.  We're now quickly moving into the "putting everything in my mouth" phase which will hopefully transfer to some finger food eating soon!  These last 8 months have flown by and I'm amazed at how quickly they change from a baby that hangs out on the floor to the crazy monkey I have now!
