The Great Outdoors

Grayson has recently turned into an obsessive compulsive want to go outsider. It's his love, his passion, his preoccupation. Every he passes a window or door it's, "Uh, uh". This is followed by violent pointing. It's really cute and terribly wearing all at the same time. These pictures were from one morning we went out and walked around. This is what happens after we come inside from being outside...

Grayson does not like to wear hats. He'll keep it on if we're outside, but as soon as we come in he rips it off.

Here, he's still upset that we've come in, but has ripped off his hat.

Here he is trying to put his hat back on and saying, "Uh, uh" and pointing out the window.

I helped him put his hat on and this is the face of a boy who has realized that his hat is not magic...Even if you put it on it doesn't mean you get to go back outside!
In all seriousness, this really has been something we've been going through the last couple of weeks. How can you argue with a kid wanting to go outside if it's nice and we're able. It's so sweet how happy he is when he's out and he's been napping a little bit better. Even though he runs around the house all day, the fresh air must take it out of him! Trust me, we don't go out nearly as often as Grayson would like, but we get out usually once a day when it's nice if not twice. I can't wait for spring!
